"We received our order the other day, and I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the quality of your product. The plants are beautiful, and the packaging is far superior to other products we've ordered via mail. As long as the deer leave these plants alone, I'm sure they'll be a source of delight for years to come. Thank you so much for the work you do, and for the quality you put into raising and shipping your plants." - Eden

"Thank you so much for not sending poor quality plants. I very much appreciate your honesty and I will be sure to order any future plants earlier in the season, and of course will order from your company. It is nice to know that there are still companies out there that do care more about there customers than a quick profit. Take care." - Margie

"I just received my shipment from you of sweet basil. It just looks wonderful and I was so impressed with the packaging and the obvious care that this plant has had. I had planted my basil too early this year and it hit a late frost and as a result it died. I work for the Olive Garden and work with this delicate herb, so I know how delightful it is. I'll be ordering again from you in the future and thank you for taking such good care of our natural resources!" - Sharon, Whitehall, Pa.

"I just want to tell you that your web site is WONDERFUL! I'm planning for next year and I look forward to being a customer. Anyone who puts this much thought and care into the creation of their web site has to have superior products. So many web sites just throw things on the web and expect the "customer" to search through everything to find what will work in their garden. You have made it not only easy but enjoyable! Applause, applause, applause!" - Ann

"I received the shipment of Dragon Wing Begonias today. They are beautiful plants in excellent condition. I look forward to receiving the Spectrum Hilda Begonias. Thank you." - Jerlean

The Begonia Dragon Wing Red, 'Begonia x hybrida', is a beautiful shade plant growing up to 15 inches tall with a a spread of up to 18 inches. Dragon Wing Pink Begonias perform very well in the landscape with excellent heat tolerance and garden performance. Dragon Wing Pink is part of a new series that is very heat tolerant and has wing-like, glossy green leaves. It's an excellent companion with other annuals in containers and hanging baskets. The Dragon Wing works great in full sun but the look in partial shade is absolutely awesome. These plants bloom almost constantly and have angel-wing shaped, dark green leaves that are spectacularly glossy with huge panicles of red flowers hanging down. This plant is ideal for hanging baskets on the front porch or in large containers. Begonia Dragon Wings prefer planting beds that are well drained and organic-rich.

The Coleus Dark Star, `Coleus hybrid,' with its dark purple foliage glowing with a subtle sheen and nicely shaped scalloped edges explodes with brilliant colors in sunny locations. These new, bigger, sun loving varieties of plants have completely revolutionized container gardening. These are durable and easy to grow tender perennial plants. Frost will easily kill them, and they are commonly damaged by poorly drained soils or excessive watering. Coleus plants that are suffering from too much moisture will be stunted, with brown leaves and scorched leaf margins. In zones ten through eleven, Coleus Dark Star will become completely perennial.

The Tomato Pole Cherokee Purple, `Lycopersicon lycopersicum,' produces multitudes of ten to twelve once tomatoes that feature a strong tomato flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. This Heirloom variety comes from Tennessee, and is very productive. The flesh of the tomatoes is a unique red brick color, with a rose/purple skin. They require at least one inch of water weekly, and should be soaked to a depth of six to ten inches when watering. This variety requires at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. These plants should be pruned in order to keep a single stem.
